

Alta Vista is perfectly situated for taking the best advantage of Southeast Arizona's amazing bird population. Our garden and grounds attract species from hummingbirds to thrashers, cardinals and raptors. From poolside you can watch quail families scoot along under the shrubbery with lines of babies between mother and father. We even have our own resident roadrunner who loves to be hand-fed meatballs!
For our birding guests we provide unique benefits such as local maps, quick reference guides and a special portable birding breakfast so you can get an early start.
